John Keats - 1795-1821
A thing of beauty is a joy for ever: Its loveliness increases; it will never Pass into nothingness; but still will keep A bower quiet for us, and a sleep Full of sweet dreams, and health, and quiet breathing …

Thank You

Thank you so much for a great party Dear Westerwitch, and Happysnaper, so too Dear Lixtroll and Peat. Not forgetting all the help given by all other admin.

It is incredible how we have grown here amongst a wonderful circle of friends, and although we all have our own daily lives to be amongst our family, it is nice to know that out there we are all supporting one another one way or another, even if it be in cyber-space.

How well said, Camilla. Sometimes I wonder about where I fit on this site , where most all of you are on the other side of the big pond. Then I remind myself that friends are where you find them, and I'm glad to have found all of you.

Oh, pondside - you fit in just perfectly!

And what a great dress, Camilla.

I agree with you Camilla (and with littlebrowndog about Pondside too). I was at the party but couldn't log in (still can't) so I hope no-one will think I was not joining in with heartfelt thanks to all.
(I will put your song on the requests Camilla)

You look sooo elegant draped across your settee. Can I borrow your frock if I ever go anywhere posh enough to wear it. Have to let it out a size or 5 first though.

Totally concuR with your sentiments, this is a wonderful place to be - and of course it wouldn't be the same without Pondside!

So true Camilla. I wanted to be at the party, but unfortunately couldn't make it. I raised an imaginary glass as I sat in traffic on the M25 instead!!

And I'm really glad Pondside is here too. It's great to hear news from across the pond and I love telling my husband that I now have friends all over the world. It makes me sound like such a glamorous jet-setter!!

Just catching up as I have been a bit busy recently and not read many blogs. I loved the poem you wrote to go with your tag blog so full of verve but then all your poems are good.

The bookshop you dream of reminded me of someones blog, I can't remember whose which is unusual because I usually remember(too tired at the mo I think), where they wrote of a similar type bookshop closing and it felt so sad at what a pleasurable place it must have been to visit.

Great news for your grandson, eldest was bullied it's horrible, also as he had moved once it is nicer to have the continuity of returning to the same school and friends he would have had. You and your daughter must be very relieved for him.
